Essential Documents

• Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date (many countries require this). 
• Check for blank visa pages if multiple countries are on your itinerary.  
• I have personally used this service when I discovered my passport was about to expire. Seriously Quick !

•  Some countries require an entry visa prior to arrival. 
• Others allow visa on arrival or electronic travel authorization (eTA/ESTA). 

•   Digital copies are often fine, but a printed version can help if phones die or Wi-Fi is unreliable. We ALWAYS get a hard copy during check-in !

•  Some immigration officials require proof of where you’ll be staying. I have often been asked where I’m staying and for how long. Having your reservations printed will expedite your clearance through customs if needed.  

• Coverage for medical emergencies – See medical Insurance 
• Many countries (e.g., Schengen area) require proof of medical coverage. 

• Yellow fever certificate (required in some African, South American, and Caribbean nations). 
• COVID-19 vaccination or testing documentation (requirements vary by country). This may be outdated but still, be sure! 

• Required if renting a car abroad.  
• IDP is valid only with your original license. 

• Copy of passport photo page (keep separate from original). 
• Contact info for nearest embassy/consulate. 
• Copies of credit/debit cards in case of loss.
